Volunteer Opportunities
The Lions Eye Bank of Texas has a need for volunteers throughout the year. The need is not on a daily and/or weekly basis; however, there are many large projects that require additional manpower that the staff alone cannot manage. Some of these volunteer opportunities include large mailings, and preparation for fundraisers.

The support from Lions and the general public has played an integral part in the success of the Lions Eye Bank of Texas. Contributions have been used to help the Eye Bank’s public and professional education campaigns and to help provide corneas for transplantation at no charge to patients without insurance and in need of financial assistance.
Many Lions Clubs help to initiate and promote fundraising throughout their Districts. During the year, each district sponsors special fundraising events to benefit the Lions Eye Bank of Texas. These events are:
